What our customers say

  • star rating  We did the 4 day Bruny Island walking trek. Absolutely fantastic! Our guides, Rumit and Robyn, were knowledgeable, friendly and worked tirelessly to ensure we had everything we needed. They are excellent cooks, too. The treks were great, tired us out but not overly strenuous. Highly recommended.

  • star rating  This was our first ever guided walk of more than a day in an unfamiliar group. Despite the tracks being graded easy / moderate, at times walking was not exactly a "walk in the park". We perhaps weren't prepared for some of the slippery surfaces or having to be alert for quite a bit of the time. Despite this we managed really well and were well satisfied with completing it.

Our guides were very personable, polite, kind, funny and worked very hard to respond to our needs. They were great cooks and time managers and responsible drivers. They humored us (being slightly older than them) and engaged us in interesting conversations.

We had a lovely room. Facilities were clean, warm enough and very comfortable. No complaints.

Food was amazing. Great recipes. Beautifully cooked. No complaints.

Cost may be a bit of a barrier to regularly doing these kinds of activities.

We probably would have benefited from a quick chat to someone before we went as one of us might have taken walking poles.

A little bit more info on the natural wildlife would have been great.

Breaking up some of the longer walking stretches might have helped make things a bit more interesting, although it does feel good to have achieved a decent amount of the track.

  • star rating  Parktrek, Light to Light, Sapphire Coast, NSW - Friends and I did the Light to Light Parktrek Walk on the Sapphire Coast of NSW in October 2024. It was excellent.
We stayed at Green Point Lighthouse cottages. The beds were comfortable, rooms clean, good flow of hot water for showers.
We had 2 excellent guides, Sharon and Curtis who provided good, healthy, delicious food. They had extensive knowledge about the wildlife, geography, culture and they shared it at whatever level you were interested in. They were unfailingly helpful, enthusiastic and kind.
The scenery is gorgeous. The sea is truly Sapphire in colour. We walked some coastal paths and some forest paths and the variety worked well.
Highly recommend, if you enjoy walking holidays.

  • star rating  collectively we have walked the Signature - Kangaroo Island South Australia, Overland Tasmania, Great ocean road Victori  - 9 friends throughly enjoyed the Three Capes & Turrakana/Tasman Peninsula walk/ 4 days. Over the 3 days there is something for everyone, breath taking views, stunning wildflowers, changes in vegetation and if lucky wild life is a bonus. The tracks were well maintained. Our guides were very knowledgeable giving us a brief before the walk and then along the way. If you enjoy a challenge take the walk to Cape Hauy enjoying the views of the coastline along the way. We were lucky to see whales making their way south. Pack plently of food and snacks. I found that i was very hungry on this walk. The 4th day includes a wilderness cruise with Pennicott. This perfectly completed our walk as we passed along the spectacular coastline that we had walked to view from above. On the boat aside from the coastline we saw dolphins, whales, albatross and seals. Have your camera ready.
