I can’t rate this experience highly enough.
It was the first hiking experience my sister and I have undertaken so we were a bit apprehensive about what to expect.
We needn’t have worried. Although we were challenged physically it was not overly arduous and we learned so much about the gold rush era and the Daylesford region. Our two guides were very knowledgeable in regard to this.
Our group of eight got on very well particularly over evening dinner and drinks when we discussed our days hiking.
Our accommodation was in a beautiful old home in Daylesford.
Our hikes were interspersed with visits to places of interest such as the Daylesford natural springs bath house and a chocolate shop.
We couldn’t have asked more from our guides. They pulled out all stops to make sure we had a great time.
My sister and I will definitely sign up for future walks.

We did this walk on our trip to Tassie over 12 months ago, it was such an amazing experience and our guides Zane and Surran were the best and made for a memorable trip. Both Zane and Surran were extremely knowledgeable, professional and passionate, sharing their knowledge of the area, flora and fauna. Having two guides provided flexibility and accommodated different walking styles of the group and with weather and walking terrain challenging at times ensured everyone’s safety. Catering to various dietary requirements was trouble at all and so good to have tasty meals prepared at the end of days walking by extremely capable cooks! A trip to add to list

The weather was against us this time on the Daylesford Goldfields track. No problem for Jess and Gerrard though. They managed to keep us busy, well fed and entertained on the days we couldn’t get on the trail. Nothing was too much trouble. The manor house a perfect spot to bunker down in front of the fire and relax.

Enjoyed blend of history and bushwalking - Great introduction to bushwalking for a reasonably fit senior lady. Enjoyed the blend of history and walking through former goldfields. Relaxed pace never too strenuous. Accommodation very comfortable and food tasty fresh and plentiful. Ready to do sone more challenging walks too.

Amazing walking Tour of the 3 Capes in Tasmania - The 3 Capes walk in Tassie has been on my bucket list for years. And for good reason! We had the most stunning private tour with Park Trek in late March involving 10 close friends. Carrying day packs only, we walked 50km over 3 days and had the most amazing wilderness cruise on the fourth day. Incredible coastline views, gorgeous flora and fauna, stunning weather, and interesting “interp” from our personable and enthusiastic guides were highlights from our walks. We stayed in comfortable cabins at Stuarts Bay, where we could enjoy a swim at the end of the day. Dinner was a two course feast (byo alcohol) cooked by our guides which included roast lamb and lasagne for main course and apple crumble and pavlova for dessert. Gin tastings at a local distillery and a side trip to Port Arthur (for those still with juice in the legs) were an added bonus. Sunrises. Sunsets. A perfect holiday.
